The Small Business Clinic (SBC) at the University of Southampton, is organised and run by staffs and students at the Business & Law School. It is actively supported by a chartered accountant (who is also an experienced entrepreneur) with a very rich national and international experience offers FREE initial advice on a range of issues which includes all aspects of general, legal and tax compliance matters relating to running a business in the UK.
SBC aims to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit mind-set among the University population and offers assistance to staffs and students across all departments of the University of Southampton. In particular it aims at supporting individuals who have just started a business, or have a business idea and are planning on starting a new business.
By participating in SBC clinics and seminars, clients can receive a wide range of professional advices including, but not limited to, creation of start-ups, budgetary controls, design and implementation of management systems, HR and staff planning, acquisitions and divestment, tax planning, statutory audits and corporate legal aspects, among others. Our consultants provide real-life practice advice to help clients manage their business plans successfully. Any information shared with the members of the team remain strictly confidential.
