SBC aims to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit among the University population and offers assistance to staff and students across all departments at the University of Southampton. In particular, it aims to support individuals who have just started a business, or who have a business idea that they hope to turn into a new business.
By participating in SBC clinics and seminars, clients can receive a wide range of professional advice including, but not limited to: creation of start-ups, budgetary controls, design and implementation of management systems, HR and staff planning, acquisitions and divestment, tax planning, statutory audits and corporate legal aspects, among others.
